BOTOX®

Botox® can help diminish the wrinkling associated with aging on the forehead and around the eyes. Botox® creates a temporary relaxation of the muscles that underlie the skin of the face in these areas. This action causes the skin to smooth out for the duration of the action on the muscles which lasts from three to six months.

DERMAL FILLERS

At Fountain of You, we offer the dermal fillers Juvederm®, Juvederm Plus®, the longer lasting filler Radiesse® and Evolence® to improve the volume in the cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips that are lost as you age. These fillers can help improve the appearance of the aging face and delay surgical intervention, which often includes significant downtime.

Which filler is right for you?

While all of the fillers will increase volume in the nasolabial folds, some fillers are not designed to be used in all of the areas where fillers can be injected. In consultation with Dr. Zipper or one of her staff, she will determine which one is right for you based on your treatment goals, treatment site, desired duration of effect, and financial considerations. The effects of the hyaluronic acid fillers Juvederm® and Juvederm Plus® can be reversed in the rare event that you are not happy with your outcome. The effect of Radiesse® is more prolonged than the hyaluronic acid fillers. It consists of calcium spheres that are broken down by the body but it involves a process that can take a year or longer.

How much filler will I need?

This depends on the volume loss that currently exists, what your treatment goals are, and how many areas you wish to treat. You will usually get the best result from a complete correction of the volume loss, which may require more than one syringe of product. Dr. Zipper can consult with you on the best approach to meet your goals.
